the Warmest Colour (2023)
ベルリン在住のカップル、ThamsとRhiannonの会話が、展示会場の環境音と合わさって聞こえるサウンドインスタレーション。あたかも2人が展示会場に来てこの話をしているように仕組まれた音源には、クイアな人々が生きる日常をめぐるトピックや、たわいもなく親密な会話が収録されている。社会的にスティグマ化される経験を持つ、トランスな身体と共に横たわることで音源を試聴する。
A sound installation in which conversations between Thams and Rhiannon, a couple living in Berlin, are combined with the environmental sounds of the exhibition space. The sound sources, which are designed to make it sound as if the two had come to the exhibition space to talk about this, include topics surrounding the everyday life of queer people and their intimate conversations in a casual way. The sound sources are auditioned by lying down with trans bodies, who have experiences of being socially stigmatised.
